Before your OPD visit
- Book ahead or call the front desk to check the doctor's OPD timing.
- Bring old prescriptions, reports, X-ray films/CDs and a list of medicines.
- Carry a photo ID (Aadhaar) and your insurance or Ayushman card if you have one.
- Arrive 15 minutes early for registration.
Admission
- Your doctor gives an admission advice; the front desk completes registration.
- For cashless treatment, inform the insurance desk at once.
- Room options and estimated costs are explained before admission.
- Keep valuables at home. One attendant may stay with the patient.
Discharge
- Your doctor decides the discharge; the billing and insurance process then starts.
- Insurance discharges can take a few hours while the insurer approves the final bill.
- You receive a discharge summary with medicines and follow-up date — keep it safe.
Visiting patients
- Visiting hours are being confirmed with the hospital — please ask at the front desk.
- Limit visitors to keep patients rested and reduce infection risk.
- Children and anyone with a cough or fever should avoid visiting wards and ICU.
Medical records
- Request copies of your records at the front desk with photo ID.
- Inpatient records are kept for 5 years; outpatient records for 3 years; medico-legal and death records permanently.
